Coach Hagadone: Making Volley Cub History!

How are champions made? (Eight times!)

With thirteen years of experience coaching MCA’s volleyball team, Coach Hagadone lead our Volley Cubs into their eighth state championship. Coach Hagadone was very hopeful going into the playoffs because she believed that her team has a strong core as well as experience. Since they’ve already won three state championships, experience is a strong suit of the team captains Emily Meyer, Camille Denny, Tea Jones, and Tori Frught.

Coach Hagadone had high hopes for her team captains as well as underclassmen Lindsey Wickersham, Olivia Stant, and Cecilia Brown, whom she says are improving.

To further prepare her team for the state playoffs, Coach Hagadone sent the girls “Quotes of the Day” for inspiration.

Recently, the team’s head coach reached 500 wins which means that, in thirteen years of coaching, Coach Hagadone has won thirty-eight games per year! Her team celebrated this milestone by bringing her two cakes and balloons.

Coach Hagadone would like to tell her team, “Teams win championships, so we need everybody in.”

We are proud of you, Coach!
