On Monday, April 29, 2019, Mount Carmel Academy students were inducted into multiple honor societies in the Mother Thèrése Chevrel Assembly Center. These societies were Mu Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society, and the French, Latin, Spanish, Tri-M Music, and International Thespian Honor Societies.

Carmel’s Instrumental Ensemble opened the program with “Palladio” by Carl Jenkins, arranged by Mrs. Millar-Boldissar.

Opening prayers were said in both French and Spanish with the assembly. Speeches were performed addressing Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. These speakers included Sara Saak, Meredith Noonan, Adeline Chappuis, and Sophia Happoldt. Another speech was soon delivered by Judge Camille Buras Tifft, the mother of two MCA students. With a few congratulatory words, members were inducted and thank yous were given. Instrumental Ensemble played a song with an arrangement by Mrs. Millar-Boldissar titled “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen.
