Halloween is only a few weeks away! To prep for the spookiest holiday of the year, I tried out a Halloween recipe. It’s a super fun recipe: Peanut Butter Spider Cookies that I got off of www.allrecipes.com. Keep reading if you want to know more!

First, get the following list of ingredients: peanut butter, brown sugar, white sugar, chocolate truffles, candy eyes, vanilla extract, milk, all purpose flour, baking soda, one egg, salt, and chocolate frosting.

The next step is to preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Combine half a cup of white sugar, half a cup of brown sugar, half a cup of peanut butter, and half a cup of shortening.

Then, stir in a teaspoon of vanilla extract and two tablespoons of milk.

In a separate bowl, put one and ¾ cups of all purpose flour, a teaspoon of salt, and a teaspoon of baking soda. Then combine both bowls and stir.

Roll the dough into balls and sprinkle white sugar on top. Then bake for 10-12 minutes.

Once they’re done, put your chocolate truffle in the middle of each cookie.

Then use the chocolate icing to stick the candy eyes on the chocolate. Last, draw the legs on the cookie and enjoy!

In conclusion, this recipe is somewhat difficult, but it was so much fun to make and even more fun to eat!
