“Look You Made Me Do”

After Taylor Swift’s long break, she is finally making her comeback as a leading Billboard artist. “1-800-273-8255”

Following “Bodak Yellow,” the next hit is “1-800-273-8255” by Logic featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid. This song has a lot more meaning than many pop songs. It openly discusses the struggle of depression and hardships of a being teenager. Logic’s reason for writing this song is to spread a message, and he did that by creating a song with a simple tune that would touch the hearts of many.

“Despacito”

Oh, because you have not heard this song a million times on the radio! Still high up in the charts is “Despacito,” by Luis Fonsi featuring Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber. The fast melody just makes you want to get up and dance, and you have to be lying if you do not know every Spanish word they sing. Anyway, the combination of Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber definitely made a hit for the summer.

“Too Good At Goodbyes”

This is a new, catchy song that talks about the hardships of everyone leaving. “Too Good At Goodbyes,” by Sam Smith is not too depressing despite the sad topic. This song has a good melody that teenagers could listen and sing to every time it comes on, which is probably why it is so popular right now.

“Wild Thoughts”

Another song that is well-known to teenagers is “Wild Thoughts,” which is written by two of the most amazing song writers, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller. This song is very upbeat and every time it comes on it, teenagers just wanna get up and dance. If you are in a happy mood, “Wild Thoughts” is definitely your song because you can jam out and have a good life.

“Unforgettable”

A great new hit is “Unforgettable” by French Montana featuring Swae Lee. This is another song with a great beat that is fun to dance and sing around too.

“Attention”

An artist who is familiar with the charts is Charlie Puth, and he has blessed us with another song called “Attention.” This song expresses how someone in his life is begging for attention in his life, which may be relatable to anyone with ex relationship problems. Even if you cannot sing, you should try to sing and dance to it anyway.

“Believer”

The song “Believer,” by Imagine Dragons has been on the charts for a while now, and once you listen to the song it’s no wonder why. Once it comes on the radio, it should not be turned off. Sing it as loud as possible even if someone is in the car with you.

“There’s Nothing Holding Me Back”

Last but not least, “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” by Shawn Mendes. Mendes explains has gotten rid of a bad habit who was, obviously, holding him back. Once this bad person is out of his life for good, he follows his dreams and accomplishes more of what he wants. Besides the positive meaning, this song is fun and upbeat and perfect for a car ride playlist.
